How to open Mac MTS files on my iPad???

How do I open a file I am working on (Mac MTS) to my iPad to continue working on it? I don't use iTunes.
Can I use Dropbox?

On iPad you can export to dropbox using the 'Document Picker' destination. Note that the DropBox app needs to be installed for this to work.
On Mac you can download the zip file from dropbox yourself. Then you can import it via the Song-->Import Song option.

My question is just the opposite ,
From the Mac to the iPad.

Oops, I missed that. Well, then you'll have to do everything the other way: on the Mac use Song-->Export-->Export Song. Then upload the zip file to your dropbox. On iPad go to Song-->Import Song, use the Document Picker source.
