Are you referring to the vertical zoom? Yes, my notes are about 1/10 inch, as well.Support wrote:How high are the notes in your pianoroll? Mine are approx. 1/10 inch.
Yes, but not as fast as my finger. When moving my finger up, my finger catches up and covers the note.Support wrote: What happens when you move the finger further down? Does the note move down too?
It seems more like 1/2 an inch, to me.Support wrote: The note should stay where it is until you've moved about 3/4 of an inch down, then the note should start moving down. It does this for me no matter what I do.
That should help. It will get rid of the finger covering as I move upward.Support wrote: It has a 2:1 'gear ratio', ie. you have to move your 2 inches to move the note an inch. This is intended to improve precision. I think I'll remove this for the pianoroll because it's not necessary (besides, the vertical touch handle on the right doesn't have it either so it's inconsistent).
Does it? With a little bit of vertical zoom-in on the score editor, I think a 1:1 ratio would be fine and it would speed things up quite a bit. I suppose 4:3, or 3:2, might be a reasonable compromise. However, make sure there is enough distance above the finger so the note doesn't get lost, even if dragging upward.Support wrote: I think the score editor really needs the 2:1 gear ratio because the notes are too close.
