midi length

Hi,

I'm trying to create a midi file using an existing one. The intial file is 10 seconds. After having removed 3 seconds at the end and saving the new file, the new file is still 10 seconds even though it doesn't contain the cut 3 seconds of sound anymore. The end is now just empty.

What do I have to do to get the file to 7 seconds? Thanks for your help!

Hi freezer,

Try selecting just the part you want to save (the 7 seconds) and then save as a new file.

thanks for your help! It works almost... When pasting into a new file, it just creates a single stream, althoug I selected all streams in the initial file.
