I'm a newbie with recording, and my question is hopefully an easy one. When I open a pre-recorded midi file and play it back through MTS, the "voices" (instrument sounds) sound different from when I play it back through several other programs. Some of the instruments sound really "tinny'. I have a Creative Soundblaster Live sound card, and tried playing with all of the device settings to no avail. Any ideas.

I have another mixing program (demo) where this does not happen, but I really like MTS because it's simple and intuitive.

Since I have no experience with SoundBlaster, this is a shot-in-the-dark, but check to see if the 'Apply EMU10k1 44.1 kHz Audio Sync Correction' box is checked in the Winsound settings window.
