Midi sync with iRig

My question, can multitrackstudio be synced by an external midi device if using iRig and a Lightning to usb cable?
In other words can I slave multitrackstudio on an iPad?

MultitrackStudio can send sync code (SMPTE or MIDI Clock), but it can't receive sync code.
You can start/stop transport via MIDI, if that's what you mean. That's part of the Pro Extension.

There is no sync as slave , I’ll just use it to make loops I guess
Would be a nice feature
