Triplet entry into score.

I would like the ability to enter a triplet note into the score.
The process now is too time consuming.>enter a quarter note >more> split into equal parts >3>enter>back to score>edit notes. By this time I have lost my inspiration. Could we please have a triplet entry in the drop-down panel.
