microphone question

What is the best recommended microphone to use with this program? I'm considering purchasing the MultitrackStudio, but am trying to figure out all the equipment I might need. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Our operating system is Windows Vista.

I would strongly suggest rolling back to XP as Vista is still now very good for recording and audio. While MTS and several other programs are Vista compliant, most of the sound cards and interfaces are not.
