Removing sampler patches
If you import, say, a sf2 soundfont in the Sampler it will create audio files and a .ptc file. Interestingly, MultitrackStudio doesn't offer a way to remove these file if you decide you don't like the patch after all.
Time to fire up good old Windows Explorer and delete the file manually.
By default the files are created in the "C:\Program Files\MtStudio\Patches\" folder. If you've specified a custom location for the sampler patches you should obviously look there. The Sampler windows shows the file path if you load a patch.
A separate folder is created for every sf2 file you've imported, named after the sf2 file. Once you've found the folder containing the patches you want to delete you can delete this folder.
Extra tip for Windows Vista users:
The default folder is located in the "Program Files" folder. Under UAC (User Account Control) this means all samples patches will end up in a virtual folder because Vista doesn't allow writing to the real Program Files folder.
To see these files you'll have to click the "Compatibility Files" button in Windows Explorer.
To avoid this problem you can set up your own patches folder in the Studio menu's Preferences window (eg. "C:\Sampler Patches\").
