I can't seem to get the slider thumb to snap to Bars in the overview bar.
I have turned snap on. But when I slide with the mouse it does not snap to the bar.
If I edit a track (midi) the slider thumb does snap to the bar.
Why not in the overview bar?

The Snap button is for the editors. The overview bar at the top is part of the transport, so it doesn't obey the Snap button.

It has been considered at some point, but I'm not sure if it should snap to bars.

I was looking for a faster way to set the cycle other than opening a track. Mac and IOS.
